If you’ve had a hankering for food trucks… lots and lots of food trucks… then you are in luck. Food Truck Tuesdays is almost upon us. The weekly event is the best time to explore the realm of food truck options in Buffalo. It’s also a great time to unwind, enjoy the weather, hang out with friends, listen to some of the region’s best bands, and drink down some locally brewed beers.
The event series kicks of April 19 (the earliest kick-off ever), and runs until October 4, giving people plenty of days to try each and every cuisine that is offered.
The 2016 season brings with it four new food trucks, which will be making their Larkinville debut: Midnight Smokin’ BBQ, Gourm-Asian Buffalo (see below), Antone’s and Ted’s Hot Dogs.
These new additions will join the regular line-up of trucks, including: Amy’s Truck, Flaming Fish, Frank Gourmet Hot Dogs, House of Munch, J&L BBQ, Le Petit Poutine, Lloyd Taco Truck, Macarollin, Philly Flattop, R&R BBQ, Thai Me Up, The Black Market Food Truck (BMFT), The Cheesy Chick, The Great Foodini, The Sweet Hearth, The Whole Hog, 716, Abbott’s Frozen Custard, Big Suzie’s Little Bakery, Center Street Smokehouse, Chef’s Catering/ Chef’s Mobile Kitchen, Crusin Crepes, Just Pizza, Kona Ice, The Meatball Truck Co., OG Wood Fire, Pizza Amore, Sassi Cakes, Smoothies Plus, Street Cafe, M & S Street Eats, Sweet Melody’s, Taffy’s and Tuscan Wood Fired Pizza.
“We’re excited to rev up our engines earlier than ever for our fourth season of food truck fun in Larkinville,” said Larkin Square Director of Fun Leslie Zemsky. “Food Truck Tuesdays have become such a wonderful community gathering, with people of all ages surrounding the colorful collection of trucks – I’m hungry just thinking about it!”
Also new this year will be the unveiling of Larkinville’s new retro bathroom, three new holes at Larkin Links (nano golf), Craft Cruiser megacycle rides between Larkin Square and Flying Bison Brewery. Flying Bison will be offering additional food trucks, tours, and samples throughout the season.
2016 is going to be the biggest and the best year for food truck lovers, not to mention fans of live music, outdoor games and all the rest of the hoopla that goes into this sensational event series.
