Elmwood Commons is a community hub that is located at 3200 Elmwood Avenue. Once the home of the Philip Sheridan Elementary School, today the building is another type of beehive of activity known as Ken-Ton Elmwood Commons.
Located just outside of the city, the 8-acre property – the former site of the former Philip Sheridan Elementary School – is many things to many people. From flex space to a handful of “coming soon” enterprises, the complex is full of community resources.
Today the building is home to a wide range of tenants, including New Moon Mindful Movement (strength training and yoga classes), Body of Wealth, Oasis Dance Center, New Story Church, Elmwood Commons Theater, Rob’s Comedy Playhouse, Devi Performing Arts, Tea Stitches Boutique, The Blue Giraffe Child Care Center, Buffalo Turners Gymnastics, Caramici’s Bakery, and Level Up ABA Services.

Adding to the list of amenities and programming, a new, free summer-long live music series is now kicking off, which takes places on the grounds of the bustling community hub.
Music lovers are invited to “bring a chair,” and attend a show on any given Tuesday. The June dates have been announced (see below), and more live music is on deck as the summer stretches out. Held right outside on the front lawn, the live music kicks off at 6pm, with hot dogs, baked goods, and free raffles. So why not meet up with your friends, or bring your family along to enjoy this new summer tunes tradition?
Free parking is available.
