In Buffalo, when we hear the word “crawl,” we typically think about a bar crawl, or a Santa crawl, which are certainly fun outings. That said, for those who are less concerned about drinking, and more interested in culture, there’s a new “crawl” in town.
The Saturday Arts and Culture Crawl – dreamt up by Art: Resource – is the latest and greatest art-forward effort, designed to generate added enthusiasm for this city’s burgeoning arts scene.
The flexible itinerary for the day includes visits to a few of our favorite studios and galleries, as well as a launch party, a film premiere, and some concert options. A handy dandy map has been provided, to make it easier for people to come up with their own routes and schedules.
“This weekend marks more than a series of events, it reflects the growing momentum of artists, organizations, and supporters working together to create a more connected and vibrant cultural community in Buffalo. We hope you will join us as we celebrate the launch of The Raft Residency, gather for community programming, and support fellow organizations like Hunt Residencies that are creating meaningful opportunities for artists across our city. You can learn more about each of the Saturday activities we are highlighting and SO MUCH more, but signing up for the Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) Newsletter.” – Art: Resource
