Are you sick of fast fashion? Cheap clothing? Disposable duds? If so, The Tool Library has a fun and fashionable solution. On Tuesday, October 7 from 5:00PM to 7:30PM, the community is invited to attend the inaugural Clothing Swap, where people will have a chance to refresh their wardrobes in a manner that is not only snazzy, but also sustainable.
Join The Tool Library’s storefront for the inaugural Clothing Swap on Tuesday, October 7th from 5:00PM-7:30PM.
“Fast fashion is one of the leading contributors to landfill waste. Refresh your wardrobe sustainably at our Clothing Swap—bring what you don’t wear, find new favorites, and keep clothes out of the landfill.” – The Tool Library
Clothing Swap Rules:
All clothing sizes (infants, children, teens, and adults) and types (including Halloween costumes) are encouraged.
All clothing donated must be:
- Clean
- Free of tears/rips or visibly mended
- Free of visible stains
- No undergarments
- Limit of 15 items to be donated per person. (This ensures we have enough space and time for volunteers to process and sort donations)
- You do not need to donate clothing to take clothing.
Donations can be dropped off at The Tool Library during the following times:
- Monday, October 6th, between 4:30-7:00PM
- Tuesday, October 7th, between 5:30-6:30PM
