Buffalo Place recently posted that Road Less Traveled has opened its doors – on Wednesdays – for anyone that wants to stop by and enjoy a bring-your-own-lunch (BYOL). It’s a rather interesting concept, in my opinion. The theater has a great space for people to gather, relax, listen to music, socialize, and… eat their lunches.
The way it works is that people grab a take-out lunch, or something that they made at home, or had delivered to the office. Then, instead of eating at a desk at their office, they can bring their meals to the Lobby Bar Cocktail Lounge anytime from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The bar will be open during those hours, serving coffee, sodas, NA drinks, or cocktails.
“Grab your take-out or lunch bag and come down, hang with friends, enjoy your meal and reset for the second half of your workday. And while you’re at it, maybe meet a few new neighborhood pals? We look forward to sharing our time with you! No cost, just a space for you to relax in and enjoy.” – Road Less Traveled
Who knows? Maybe this is the start of a new lunchtime trend that could occur more often than just Wednesdays. Only time can tell.
