The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) is where over 7000 health professionals call home. These professionals work on the region’s top clinical, research, and medical education projects and daily endeavors. Much infrastructure planning is constantly undergone to serve the over 750,000 annual health-related visitors – planners are building connections to surrounding neighborhoods in order to best work with, and serve, the community.
BNMC is a non-profit organization-corporation that has consistently demonstrated the ability to accomplish the following:
• Coordinating activities related to planning, development and enhancement within a 100-acre footprint
• Facilitating collaboration among member institutions, as well as with the community at large
• Addressing issues of common concern to its institutions
• Creating a distinct environment that provides opportunities for active living.
Through the cultivation of an environment that supports world-class clinical care, research, education and entrepreneurship, BNMC is creating a healthier community and attracting increased investment in the medical campus as well as in the surrounding neighborhoods.

BRO Reader Submission
We love to hear what the Buffalo community has to say. We offer a space to those who feel that they want to share their stories, without committing to writing ongoing articles. Typically reader submissions are one-offs that contribute to the broader Buffalo conversation.
