If you were in the Theatre District Thursday afternoon, you might have caught a glimpse of a bicyclist pulling a life-size Buffalo on a wagon down Main Street. While it was certainly an off-beat site, the purpose of this gentleman and his colorful riding partner was far from whimsical.  It turns out that for the last week, ED the Earth Day Buffalo has been residing inside the Market Arcade building on Main Street. On Friday, February 13, the Allen Street Hardware Café, located at 245 Allen Street, will welcome another homegrown talent at the beginning of what seems to be a promising career. “It Was The Promise Of Legend That Has Brought Us To This Mess,” a series of enlarged Polaroid emulsion lift prints, will mark the first solo outing by the 22-year-old Buffalo artist and educator Zack Boehler. Many years ago I lived on the 700 block of Ashland Avenue, just a short walk from JP Bullfeathers, Coles, and Mister Goodbar.  So I spent a lot of time at those bars back in those days.  If it was a Tuesday night, I was taking advantage of 25 cent drafts at Mister Goodbar.  When I think of Goodbar these days, Tuesday nights still come to mind.
