Details are out on Bashar Issa,Aeos plans to build a skyline transforming tower near City Hall. The privately-financed $360 million, 40-story tower will occupy a surface lot at the northeast corner of S. Elmwood Avenue and W. Mohawk Street directly behind the future Federal Courthouse on Niagara Square. The building would top Buffalo,Aeos current height leader, the 529 foot HSBC Center at the foot of Main Street that was completed in 1970. Manchester, England-based developer Bashar Issa wants to take command of the Buffalo skyline. Issa,Aeos BSC Group plans to build a $360 million, 40+ story tower on a surface lot at the northeast corner of S. Elmwood Avenue and W. Huron Street (picture above). The building is expected to top Buffalo,Aeos current height leader, the 529 foot HSBC Center at the foot of Main Street that was completed in 1970.
