In one exhibit, try on bug goggles while attempting to weave, tunnel and climb through an obstacle course. Next find yourself lost in the corridors of some unique bug homes and then design one to be submitted to the bug experts. But these exhibits are…

In past Artists Among Us profiles, I have shared with BRO readers the immense attraction that I felt to each one of the artists that I chose to interview. My attraction to Rob’s work was quite simply the thoughtful randomness that is applied to his subject matter – deer with red mittens and birds picketing. His website only further irritated my curiosity. The tabs that label each web page are titled “nuthatch” and “thrush” and “warbler”. Rob dons a top hat, bangs on drums and falls asleep with the assurance that a stack of post-it is close by. It is…

Buffalo native and national recording artist Terry Sullivan presents ‘Low Lamp Sessions’ this Friday at Shanghai Red’s. ‘Low Lamp Sessions’ is a rousing performance of his recently released record THEEarthMoovsaroundTHESUN, produced by Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls. This record has been obtaining tremendous reviews from major music industry websites and sounds like an experimental mixture of pop and rock’n’roll. It has been said that this record is a “microspective” built around his magical voice, using inventive production to evoke his high-intensity stage presence and offers a cohesive smattering of melodies and moods that suggest where Sullivan has been.…
