John (Josh) grew up in Buffalo where he stayed until moving to Chicago for 13 years right after college. It is there that he worked for some of the top sports marketing companies in the country. 6 years ago, he formed Bison Entertainment Group which provides client entertaining and incentives to companies all over the world. Whether it is tickets/suites, private housing at the Masters, Super Bowl, athlete/celebrity appearances, putting together national sales meetings or incentive trips, his company covers it all!

Well folks, I fell for it, hook, line aaaaand sinker. I was hiding behind the mirage of turnovers and other methods of winning that were clearly not sustainable. I saw a Jauron coached Bears team do it when I lived in Chicago and I thought maybe… just maybe… this is the year. Last week I wrote about the playoffs, and if you can’t even talk about that word for one week, where is the fun in being a fan? The most upsetting part is that their cushion is gone and any loss at home probably erases thoughts of the post-season.…

If there was any doubt about what kind of players this organization wanted, it is now crystal clear after Dareus was shipped off to Jacksonville. A winning culture is being built in that locker-room and if you are going to be a “me first” player, see ya later. For a couple weeks now, I have thought that the Raiders game was going to be the biggest game left on the schedule. Beating a good team while getting to 5-2 and burying a potential Wild Card contender was exactly what needed to be done. This team deserves to be in the…

I will be the first one to admit that when there were just a few minutes left in the game and the Bills fell behind by 7, I thought there was literally zero chance they could march down the field and take this game. On a day when the defense was giving up a lot of yards in the air, Mr. White decided enough was enough as he stripped the ball away to secure the victory. Most days when Tyrod has that type of game, you can expect that if the defense is even playing mediocre, they will get the…

Well, you can only ask your defense to win so many games when you are operating with the worst offense in the NFL. We all know that Taylor has limited throwing ability and when you trade Sammy Watkins, Matthews goes down, Clay gets injured and your running game is non-existent, there should be no surprise that the Bills lost to the Bengals. The real shame is that if Buffalo just had a little bit of luck on the injury front, they would still have a good shot at the playoffs in an AFC that has been turned upside down this…

After beating the Broncos at home, pretty much everybody said let’s see what they can do against a Super Bowl contender on the road. Well, the Bills now sit at 3-1 atop the AFC East and they are no doubt the biggest surprise in the NFL right now. After taking down the Falcons in Atlanta yesterday, I would say that anything is possible (especially after seeing the Patriots defense get torched again.) Sean McDermott has his whole team believing when nobody else really gave them a chance. The defense is relentless and to hold Atlanta under 20 points was nothing…

The Bills are 3 weeks into the season and there have been more ups than downs so far. After handling the Jets easily in week one, Buffalo headed to Carolina where, as bad the offense played, they still had a chance to win it on the final play of the game. Not many people (including myself) gave the Bills much of a chance against Denver after they throttled the Cowboys just a week ago. What I saw was the same Tyrod Taylor that almost took a game from Seattle a while back during what I had thought was his best…

If you are the Buffalo Bills, you need to think outside the box. With the Patriots owning them for the last 100 years, you are already behind the 8-ball. Without a franchise QB, you might as well be holding a straw instead of a cue stick. Here is what I am thinking going into the third pre-season game. All teams play their starters for the first half so it is the perfect time to propose this “outside the box” idea. If I am McDermott, I approach the first half as a regular season game which includes all out game-planning. I…

Ok, this is going to be short and sweet. Is there any reason why the Sabres should not have the best looking uniform in the league? Take a look at these concepts created by Chris Fortier. He has taken what are my favorite uniforms of all time and put the perfect finishing touches on them. Get rid of the current dark blue (looks more black than blue), grey pits and silver outline on logo and give the fans what we have wanted for a long, long time. Let’s go back to the basics and not overthink what would work on…

Even though I wanted nothing more than Buffalo to lose that game (for draft position), I could not have imagined a more pathetic display of professionalism. Just because many fans wanted a loss does not excuse what we saw yesterday for the season finale. Between Whaley trotting out his failed EJ experiment to the laughable, unintentional on-side kick debacle, it is totally clear that this team is lost. What’s worse is that after Gilmore, Woods, (possibly Kyle Williams) and a host of others depart, Buffalo will be left with a GM that not only has no idea what a QB looks…

The hardest part about sneaking into the playoffs was Buffalo taking care of its own business. Everything that needed to happen went according to plan until the Bills blew a late game lead against Miami. Over the weekend, Denver, TN, Indy and Baltimore ALL lost which would have left the Bills with only a couple things to happen in week 17. If there is one thing I am sure of, it’s this: IF Buffalo had pulled out a win vs Miami, they would have figured out how to fall apart vs the Jets next week. As far as the Dolphins…
