John (Josh) grew up in Buffalo where he stayed until moving to Chicago for 13 years right after college. It is there that he worked for some of the top sports marketing companies in the country. 6 years ago, he formed Bison Entertainment Group which provides client entertaining and incentives to companies all over the world. Whether it is tickets/suites, private housing at the Masters, Super Bowl, athlete/celebrity appearances, putting together national sales meetings or incentive trips, his company covers it all!

I have no idea how anyone in their right mind could think that rolling out a retired, back-up QB, who has been on the team for 2 weeks, was a better idea than playing Nathan Peterman. The stupidity and ineptitude from the Bills organization could not be shining any brighter, and it is about to be on full display when the Patriots come to town next Monday night. Forget the game yesterday, the only thing worth talking about is how to fix it. For almost 25 years, this organization has whiffed on finding the most important position in sports. When…

This season has nothing to do with wins or losses, but it does have everything to do with making sure Buffalo picked the right QB. As it stands right now, even after just 6 games, it’s time to panic. Other than 2 quarters of football vs Minnesota, Josh Allen has looked absolutely awful out there on the field. As much as the scouting reports screamed “stay away”, the Bills brass just could not overlook this physical specimen who can throw the ball 80 yards in the air (cue the Uncle Rico jokes). All I ever wanted in a QB was…

Wow, just wow. There is not one person on the planet that could have predicted what transpired yesterday in Minnesota. From the very beginning of the game, when the whole crowd was doing the Skol Viking chant, I was thinking, please just keep Allen out of the hospital. Not only did Allen survive, his Bills’ team, from coaches on down, put together the most complete game in memory. It is easy to see that Allen has remarkable command and his teammates are ready to follow him anywhere. I am sure that the Vikings probably overlooked the Bills just a tad,…

No matter how bad we thought the Bills might be this year, nobody could have predicted the blowout that was witnessed yesterday. I thought that Peterman did deserve to start. But after the Ravens game, I am seriously wondering if it would be wise to ever put that guy on the field again (especially at home). I have been of the opinion that Allen should not start until the latter part of this year but after yesterday, I just don’t see how McDermott could go in that locker-room and tell those players that Nate is the starter. If it could…

The current Buffalo Bills scenario is really beyond anything that we could have asked for out of this season, correct? After beating Miami yesterday and getting to an 8-6 record, the Bills are very much alive (even if we are assuming a loss to the Patriots on Sunday). The better than average Tyrod Taylor showed up for the first half yesterday, and that was all the Buffalo Bills needed to secure the victory. On a day when McCoy passed the 10,000 yard mark, it was nice to be at the game and think “wow, every home game this year was…

The Bills actually looked pretty good… for the first 7 minutes of the game. Let’s face it, nobody thought there was even a prayer of winning this game and if a couple more bounces had gone our way, it may have even been closer! If you want to talk about moral victories, you can cite the Bills only being down 9-3 at the half. The Patriots came out of the locker-room, analyzed what they needed to fix, and then proceeded to roll over the Bills like they always do. With the playoffs all but a distant memory, it’s time to…

The Bills survived the day getting back to basics and played to their strength, the defense (at least for 1 day). This game was almost a carbon copy of previous wins where the offense does barely enough while relying heavily on the defense. McCoy was pretty quiet yesterday and although the Bills did everything they could to give this one away, White made a great interception to put the Bills back in a playoff spot. The rookies for Buffalo played great, and that gives me hope for a front office that still needs to get “their” players on the roster.…

Actually, the wheels on the bus have completely fallen off at this point. Looking at this team, Joe Montana could not even fix what ails it. There are so many issues moving forward that it is tough to figure out where (or who) to start. Over the last 3 weeks, this defense has been historically bad and with the Chiefs (away) and Patriots up next, it’s time to play for the future. After seeing what Peterman did in the first half of the last game, it is difficult to justify starting him again at a hostile Chiefs environment. It is…

Well, Monday I wrote that Tyrod probably had a half of football left in his career here in Buffalo. Kudos to McDermott for not waiting until the season was already lost. Nathan Peterman has been named the starter vs the Chargers and we can only hope that his quick release to receivers is what Buffalo needs to get over the hump. We already knew Tyrod was NEVER going to take this team to the playoffs and the move to Peterman is a win-win situation. If he gets the Bills to the playoffs, great – if the next 7 games proves…

I was not too confident Buffalo would beat the Saints but after the embarrassing Jets debacle, I would have never thought they would roll over again. The defensive line cannot pressure the opposing QB, the offensive line is getting pushed around and once again, Tyrod proved that he is NOT a starting QB in this league. If the Bills are going to compete for the final Wild Card spot (which they currently hold), not only does the run defense need to change drastically, Tyrod has got to start throwing the ball. The Bills do not have the offensive line to…
