Definitely Buffalo has been located inside the Main Place Mall since 1995. The shop is a unique gift-lovers paradise, which just so happens to be dedicated to the City of Buffalo. Located on the block of Genesee St. between Oak and Ellicott Streets is one of the oldest family-owned furniture stores in Buffalo – Scherer’s Furniture. The American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter and its September 11 Support Group will commemorate the victims of the 9-11 attacks during a September 11th Remembrance Vigil. Marking the fifth anniversary of the attacks, the vigil will be held on Sunday, September 10th at 5:00 p.m. at 786 Delaware Avenue (corner of Summer Street). Beginning Thursday, September 7th at 3:30 p.m., 3,000 flags will be placed on the front lawn of the American Red Cross, each flag representing a person who lost their life during the 9-11 attacks.
