Review by Grant Golden   THE BASICS:  Donald Margulies’ 1996 drama of a literary mentorship gone awry has been directed by Saul Elkin for the Jewish Repertory Theater, and plays weekends (no Fridays) through June 21st at the Road Less Traveled Theatre in the Market Arcade.  This two-character piece spans six years, and runs a little over two hours, with one intermission. The A/V Swap creates a forum for musicians and filmmakers to collaborate on video projects while expanding their creative horizons. The idea is that musicians to submit a soundtrack (without a film) and filmmakers to submit a film (without a soundtrack) to The A/V Swap. The projects are then randomly exchanged, distributing one movie to each musician and one soundtrack to each filmmaker. Each artist must then complete the video projects; musicians will create a soundtrack inspired by their newly acquired video and filmmakers create a video inspired by the audio track that they have received.
