As we all know, those critics were wrong. In 1825, eight years after Clinton himself broke ground with a shovel, the project was completed and the Erie Canal was open for business. Hard work, dedication, and a belief that this project would someday help boost our economy drove the workers who built it. The owners of Big Ditch Brewing Company, much like Clinton and his dream, set out to accomplish…

When head brewer Chris Herr took over the reins at Pearl Street Grill and Brewery three years ago, he set out to introduce average beer drinkers to craft beer. Well, he accomplished his goal and today at Pearl Street you’ll find a large variety of light, medium, and dark beers to choose from. In fact, at all times they have roughly nine annuals and five seasonals on tap, so chances are there’s something you’re…

After speaking with head brewer Dave Collins this week (lead image), it’s apparent that motto rings true in every one of his beers. Having just celebrated their 2 year anniversary this past weekend, Resurgence continues to turnout remarkably original beers that you won’t find anywhere else.
