When did Whiskey Reverb form?
We formed in September of 2009. We write and perform original music of many genres.
Where are you from originally?
We are all originally born and raised in Buffalo
How did you start playing together?
We all came from different musical backgrounds and had met one another in the local music scene. Through a sort of serendipity, we all met up while between projects. We all have vastly different genre influences, so we do our best to respect each others tastes and help make each other better as people and players.
Who are the band members and the instruments that they play?
AJ Amherst- vocals and synthesizers
Jim Candytree- vocals and acoustic guitar
Jamey Kern- vocals and electric guitar
Tony Bales- bass guitar
Scotty Harrington- drums
Have you recorded an album?
We have recorded three albums, Proverbs Bi-Polar & The Body Electric (2010), SoulFire Vol. I (2012), and FutureSight (2013). They are all available for download at the major music outlets; itunes, spotify, amazon, rhapsody, etc.
Where and when is your next gig?
We play a free show every Thursday at Tudor Lounge, 335 Franklin St. in downtown Buffalo, and it is always a lot of fun. You can get our full schedule at our website, www.whiskeyreverb.com.
What would you consider your style or sound?
Musical style ranges from Indie Rock, R&B Soul, Psychedelica, Hip Hop, Blues, and Punk.
