Although Hertel is quickly becoming one of the most diverse streets in all of Buffalo, it’s still home to the Italian Heritage Festival. Every commercial district in the city is host to some sort of giant festival. North Buffalo’s claim to fame is all about Italy – from the ethnic food to the grape stomping to the bocce ball tournaments.
Regularly featured attractions such as our Sicilian puppet shows for children and ever popular Grape Stomping will be held several times throughout the course of each day at this annual four day event.
Throughout the festival there are plenty of activities for the kids, live music, and refreshments to cool off with. Be sure to support all of the businesses that call Hertel Avenue ‘Home’. It won’t be long until the opening ceremonies begin!
