We all know how much Buffalonians love the disco era. You don’t have to ask us twice to break out the disco threads and the platform shoes for a good romp, especially when there is a good cause involved. On Saturday, November 8, 2014, destiny Productions and The Imperial Court of Buffalo will be throwing a disco party that is intended to raise money for the GLYS Diversity Prom – an alt prom where everyone feels safe and comfortable in their own skin, while enjoying an event that everyone should be able to simply take for granted.
The event is called Decades for GLYS, and features all of the 7os songs that you could possibly hope for, hosted by Empress IV and XVI Chevon Davis, so you know that there will be a ton of fun to be had. $25 gets you an open bar for three hours, and it all takes place at Troop I (The Hamlin House), which is one of the best places in Allentown to attend a party.
