Update: According to city records, Peter Hunt, of Hunt Realty, has purchased this property for $1,500,000.
It’s likely the most expensive multi-family home ever listed for sale in the City of Buffalo. The Ethel Mann Curtiss house, built in 1905, was originally a single family home. In 1923, the home was divided into 3 units – one unit on each of the three 4,000 square foot floors. In 2005, the Junior League made it the Decorators’ Show House and the home was re-made by local interior designers. Now, this unique mansion has been listed for sale for $1,495,000.
While there have been other Buffalo mansions listed for $1M+ price tags, none have been multi-family homes like 100 Lincoln Parkway. In that way, this is a unique listing in the city’s real estate scene. But this same house was also listed for sale in October 2011. The price then? $950,000. The house didn’t sell at that price. Now, just two years later, the same owners are asking for a 57% higher price to their 2011 asking price.
The current owners, Donald and Lori Leone, own JP Bullfeathers and more than a dozen other properties around the City including a number of rentals on the 1000 block of Elmwood.
