The Buffalo Museum of Science’s 7th Annual Star Lights event will be held Saturday, July 23rd from 8-10pm.
The tickets cost $40, but don’t let that scare you away– the views and the food are well worth it.
The event invites guests 21 and over to experience magnificent views of the city from the museum’s rooftop. If you want a closer look, The Buffalo Astronomical Association will be at the event to assist guests with telescopes.
Entertainment includes four DJs, who will perform on two different floors of the museum. Brian Donaghy, who recently won an episode of Food Network Challenge on the Food Network, will present “Chocolate– Food of the Gods, How this Confection Gets from the Rain Forest to your Local Shop.” In addition, there are 23 local vendors attending, such as Saranac, Yancey’s Fancy, and Niagara Landing Wine Cellars, who will provide food, wine, and beer samplings.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.sciencebuff.org or at the museum’s admission desk during museum hours (Sat-Thurs 10am-4pm, Fri 10am-7pm). Admission includes 10 drink tickets, which are good for one wine or one beer sample, and additional trick tickets may be purchased after 9pm. The museum will also be providing a commemorative wine glass and admission to the museum’s permanent exhibitions.
