I watched those episodes of Ghost Hunters at the Central Terminal and Iron Island Museum a few times. Very creepy stuff. You don’t even have to believe in the paranormal to find their investigations interesting. They taped a shot of a figure walking through a dark hallway and recorded some disembodied voices at both places. Thinking that “something” was watching certainly made the Central Terminal’s Halloween party a lot more fun last year.
Now’s the time to test your mettle against the dark forces of the underworld. On Friday, October 30th, hunt for the unexplained with the WNY Ghost Hunters, world-renowned psychic Chip Coffey, and from Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International, Brian Harnois. They’ll attempt to connect with something at both the Central Terminal and Iron Island Museum.
Also joining the hunt are Jonathan Watts from United Skeptics and Believers. Watts brings high-tech electronics used to record and communicate with spirits. Rev. Tim Shaw and Michelle Hall from CBS Radio’s Psychics Next Door will provide lectures, John Crocitto and Ryan Willard from Para-X’s Beyond Ghosts radio show and APEX Paranormal from Atlanta will provide workshops.
The hunt runs from 4 PM – 2 AM; meet at the Central Terminal at 3:30, and a shuttle will be provided between locations. Tickets are $150. 100% of the price goes towards reconstruction of the Central Terminal and Iron Island Museum.
