Buffalo Unscripted, a documentary film project, kicks off its more than week long filming this Saturday and the public is invited to participate. Buffalo Unscripted is being produced in advance of and in conjunction with the National Trust for Historic Preservation convention this October in Buffalo. If you missed out on Echo Art Fair at the Central Terminal last weekend, despair not. Buffalo Unscripted’s first filming event will also be at the increasing active Terminal giving you another excuse to hang out in and enjoy that magnificent space.
From Buffalo Unscripted:
It’s hard to believe that after weeks of blog posts and some silly promo videos, Buffalo Unscripted kicks off this weekend. Like for real.
While we have a whole schedule of events lined up for July 16-24, we’d like to offer you a special invitation to our big kick-off bash, I Heart Central Terminal.
Taking place this Saturday, July 16, in the building’s awe-inspiring main concourse, I Heart Central Terminal is your chance to show some major Buffalove. Interview stations (and a photo booth!) will be set up at 9:30 AM for you to say your piece for our documentary about Buffalo, its past, and its future. Lunch will be provided by Buffalo’s always-on-the-move purveyor of tortilla-wrapped goodness, Lloyd Taco. Then, at 12:30 PM, we’ll turn the stage over to Those Idiots for a surprised-filled polka tour de force.
And just to keep things kooky (that’s how we roll), we’re asking everyone to pay homage to our historic host by showing up decked out for the Central Terminal. Signs, t-shirts, body paint – be creative!
If you think you can make it, we’d love to know. You can RSVP on Facebook. Also, please invite your friends, either through Facebook or by forwarding this e-mail. The more the merrier!
This should be a great event with music, good food, and what they promise to be a very big and fun surprise.
