There’s a new type of tour in town, and it’s called “Buffalo Frolics.” As the name suggests, this lighthearted tour outfit, operated by its founders, Christina (T) and Patty, is in place to give people an up close and personal vantage point of various Buffalo-based neighborhoods.
The tours give people insight into aspects of Buffalo that they might not otherwise be afforded. T and Patty introduce their tour groups to small businesses and restaurants, while providing some history tidbits along the way.
Guests eat, sip, shop, stroll & discover their way through some of Buffalo’s most interesting neighborhoods.
“Our goal is bigger than simply offering a food tour. We want to showcase the personality of each neighborhood, introduce people to locally owned businesses, share some of Buffalo’s stories and give both visitors and Western New Yorkers a reason to experience parts of the city in a new way. We currently offer Frolics in several Buffalo neighborhoods and are continuing to develop new routes, special themed Frolics and group experiences.” – T and Patty
What’s the story behind Buffalo Frolics?
We love our city and believe we have the best local food scene. We have traveled extensively and some of our favorite moments were hanging with locals, enjoying local food and drinks, & seeing neighborhoods with locals.
When did it launch?
We officially launched in August.
How many tours have you hosted?
We have hosted 5 tours so far and have approx 12 more on the books right now.
What is the most unique tour?
They are all unique and so far all well loved.
What is your favorite tour?
Not sure if there is a favorite yet. Each has its own unique vibe and attractions! They all have a lot of interesting history in the neighborhoods.
What is included in the price of a tour ticket?
The price includes approx 4 stops at local restaurants & bars and has food and drink tastings. The only out of pocket costs would be if someone wants to shop at a local retailer or order more drinks.

During the tour we highlight the gems of each neighborhood. It’s a curated guided tour with guides & the stops/tastings arranged.
