Sprnkle, Inc. is building the next professional identity layer of the internet: a personality-first platform that replaces the resume and LinkedIn profile with a Living Profile™.
Recently, my friend and I did a deep dive pertaining to the world of professional resumes. She was updating her resume and getting it out into the hands of potential employers. During some of our discussions, we chatted about sites such as LinkedIn (a professional networking and career development platform) and its role in the career hunt.
As happenstance would have it, shortly after these discussions, Zachary Pascarella, founder and CEO of Sprnkle, reached out to me to say that he was building a personality-first, professional platform to replace LinkedIn and the resume as we know it. In a nutshell, he wrote:
“Resumes are 544 years old and don’t tell you who a person truly is. LinkedIn is outdated, full of AI-generated content and spam. Sprnkle is the new professional network. Every user gets a Personality Fingerprint™, a 7-trait signal AI cannot fake, and a Living Profile that replaces the PDF resume and shows who a person truly is in the workplace.”
Based locally, Pascarella feels that Sprnkle is primed to one day run as the preferred professional networking platform in a global resume marketplace that has become outdated and increasingly obsolete.
In a nutshell, we’re talking about a new job-seeking platform that takes a lot of headaches and hassles out of the job hunt, for both parties.
How it started
I asked Pascarella how he came up with the concept for Sprnkle. He told me that he had recently posted publicly that he was shutting down his custom furniture company because he was working on something new and far bigger than himself. A former client of his in Hamburg, who was VP of Talent Acquisition at a billion-dollar software company, saw the post and reached out. They grabbed coffee.
She told Pascarella she had been having a hard time finding the talent she was looking for. LinkedIn was no longer working. The Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) she was using to shortlist people were falling short too, leaving her to manually review hundreds of applications for a single role. She said resumes had started looking and sounding identical because so many were being written by AI, and that the majority of applicants never got the chance to be seen because no company has the capacity to actually read them all.
“It’s not like we can interview 2,000 people,” she said. She wanted to kill the resume.
Interestingly enough, Pascarella had already been building an AI product inside his other company, Taskflow, that could be reconfigured to solve exactly this problem at scale. He started building the same day.
The result was Taskflow Recruit, an AI phone interviewing platform that could handle the first and second round of screening for a hiring team, and short-list the prime candidates who deserved a human conversation. It replaced the sift.
From Taskflow Recruit to Sprnkle
While Pascarella was heads-down building Taskflow Recruit, that same former client, who is now Sprnkle’s founding advisor, kept pushing on something bigger. She reminded him that the first known résumé was written by Leonardo da Vinci more than 500 years ago, and that the same model is basically still in place today, just with cleaner formatting. She wanted to solve that side of the problem too, together.
Pascarella tried to stay focused on the interviewing product. But the idea of replacing something humanity had been using for over 540 years lit a fire he could not put out. So he combined the two problems into one platform. He reached out to her with the idea, she was instantly on board—and had the rights to the domain name Sprnkle within an hour. “Easiest $5,000 I’ve ever spent,” he said.
Taskflow Recruit was folded into the new platform as Sprnkle Recruit™, the AI phone interviewing engine. Around it, Pascarella built the second half of the vision: a personality-first professional network where every user carries a Personality Fingerprint™ and a Living Profile that replaces the resume outright.
The Fingerprint
Every Sprnkle user takes the Personality Fingerprint™ assessment, which lives on their Living Profile. The Fingerprint uses multiple-choice questions that are clearly posed to not have right or wrong answers. Instead, they learn how a person thinks, handles pressure, solves problems, and shows up under real workplace scenarios.
The results pinpoint team leaders, strong communicators, creative problem solvers, and more. Hiring teams can then search Sprnkle for the traits that fit the role, based on each person’s visual Fingerprint.
Pascarella told me that one of the biggest problems with resumes today is that more than 90% of them are now generated with AI. Every resume looks and sounds the same. With Sprnkle, you see who a person truly is. It’s akin to a modern-day matchmaking program for the job world.

How it works
Every user takes Sprnkle’s proprietary 7-trait Personality Fingerprint™ assessment, which measures Communication, Collaboration, Problem-solving, Creativity, Adaptability, Leadership, and Composure. This unique fingerprint then lives on their Living Profile™.
The user can search Sprnkle for open roles that match who they are based on their profile. And in the other direction, companies can search for users who match the exact traits and experience they are looking for on a given job listing.
The user can apply to any role that interests them, and companies can invite users that match what they are looking for. Once connected, the user calls the number attached to the special link sent by the employer, and Sprnkle Recruit runs a full AI phone interview that feels like a real conversation.
The result is the creation of a multimedia, personality-graded record of someone’s character at work.
“The whole premise of the product is that a 60-second decision on a piece of paper is what’s been broken for 540+ years, so we replaced it with a conversation and a Living Profile,” Pascarella affirmed.
Launch
As for the launch of Sprnkle, Pascarella told me: “Right now the beta version is live on the web. It’s currently very limited, but you can go on right now and build a Living Profile complete with the Personality Fingerprint. Every week more features are being built and deployed, so early users will get to see it updating on almost a daily basis. We’re projecting to have it live on the Apple App Store and Google Play by September, fully functional end-to-end.”
