Work continues at the Iroquois Lofts project that will bring additional residences to the Larkin District while repurposing a highly-visible industrial building. Rochester-based Park Grove Realty is putting 64 apartments into the Iroquois Door Company building at 619 Exchange Street.

A mix of unit sizes is planned ranging from 533 sq.ft. junior one-bedroom apartments to a two-bedroom unit with 1,907 sq.ft. of living space. Apartments will include stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, hardwood flooring in the main living area and carpeting in the bedrooms, in-unit washer and dryer, and walk-in showers. Planned building amenities include a lounge, fitness center and pet spa. Fifteen parking spaces are proposed for a surface lot on the west end of the site and the first floor of the two-story portion of the complex will contain 13 parking spaces.

Park Grove purchased the currently vacant 81,500 sq.ft. building in May 2019 for $1.45 million. Passero Associates is project architect.
