Joseph Polito is seeking a Special Use Permit to add a restaurant to 893 Elwmood Avenue, currently a boarding house located at the northeast corner of St James and Elmwood. Amelia’s Barrell & Boards would occupy the space.
The restaurant and bar would include a new patio fronting both streets. Indoor seating for 60 people and outdoor dining for 57 people is proposed. Sutton Architecture is designing the project. The Planning Board will begin its review of the proposal on Monday.
