While Buffalo’s radials continue to thin, an East Side residential street is gaining some much-needed infill. Buffalo Erie Niagara Land Improvement Corporation (BENLIC) is building four single-story and eight two-story homes on the 500 block of Adams Street. BENLIC is working with Buccilli Custom Homes to build the twelve homes on 23 vacant parcels. Eight of the homes are currently under construction.
The single-story plan has three bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 1,320 sq.ft. of living space. The plan also features a full front porch, unfinished basement, and a one-car either attached or detached garage. The two-story plan has three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, 1,420 sq.ft. of living space, a front porch with side-entryway, and a detached garage. Unlike infill homes constructed in years past, these homes are being constructed to the sidewalk.
Michael Lukaszewski designed the homes which will be sold at a reduced price to buyers making 100% or less of the Area Median Income.
