Every spring, we look forward to hearing what sort of attractions Buffalo Riverworks is introducing to its ever-evolving entertainment routine. In 2023, it looks as if there’s a lot to look forward to, including new rides, a Virtual Reality Room, an outdoor Stonehenge-esque Tiki Bar, and a new 9,000 square foot indoor event space called “The Silos Event Center.”
Following are a few of the newest attractions that we can look forward to:
- Coming in May: JAWZ DROP is a 12 person, 55 foot ‘drop and twist’ ride that free falls. All amusements and adventure park operations will have expanded hours into the later evening this year.
- A new immersive indoor Virtual Reality Room. This newly constructed indoor space will be next to the revamped game room, and will feature 5 new VR game-style rides.
- A new outdoor Stonehenge-esque Tiki Bar, decked out with 16 foot tall palm trees, with frozen drink specials in a tiki-tropical setting. There will be daily live music with occasional steel drum bands on the Floating Barge Stage.
- “The Silos Event Center” is a new 9,000 square foot space located on the second floor. It is considered “more formal,” and will have its own private entrance, elevator, and bridal party rooms, with multiple historic murals of The Buffalo River, silos, grain elevators, etc. (opening spring).
- A new state-of-the-art sound system is expected to be installed in the fall of 2023. This new sound system will allow RiverWorks to attract more national acts.
- The Kids Adventure Day Camp will be launching new groups of adventurers every week, all summer long.
