Each year, the Buffalo Auto Show features the newest cars to hit the road, but there’s a lot more than simply cars to check out.
In 2023, visitors can look forward to an array of cool installations and events, including EVs, a pet rescue organization, and street legal Low Speed Vehicles* (LSVs). Here are some of the show’s spotlight attractions:
- ENERGY ZONE: The ENERGY ZONE is back for the 2023 Buffalo Auto Show. Come see the latest in Electric (EV) vehicles, presented by the New Car Dealers of Western New York, your Electric (EV) headquarters. There will be renewable energy companies on-site to support the push for alternative energy sources incorporated into the auto industry. Sponsors include Clean Communities of WNY, NYSERDA, NY Power Authority, NYSDEC, National Grid, Solar Liberty, LED Energy Solutions, Solar by CIR, PPR Energy Solutions and Bintelli Carts of Westfield/Dave Warren Powersports (street legal golf carts/LSVs & electric E bikes).
- Subaru Pet Adoption: the Subaru Loves Pets crew will be at the Show – visit www.Subaru.com/pets for more info & the charity for this year’s show with Subaru is Buffalo Underdog Rescue
- Maserati will have the 2023 Maserati Grecale on display!
- Toyota will have Martin Truex Jr.’s NASCAR race car on display at the Marquee Level
- On Saturday from Noon to 2p, “Billy Buffalo” will be with us at the Toyota display. It’s never offseason for this lovable mascot!
- Chance to Win a Car a Day: A daily chance to win One (1) of Four (4) vehicles on display in conjunction with Buffalo’s own AAA professional baseball franchise the Buffalo Bisons – Chevrolet Silverado, Lexus RX350, Toyota Rav4, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
- The US Army National Guard “Humvee” & the Erie County Sheriff’s Office “BearCat” will be on display at the Exhibit Level
The Buffalo Auto Show is fun for the whole family. With plenty of food and drinks available, why not make it an outing with the kids? There’s plenty to see and do in the Convention Center setting.

*For a low speed vehicle (LSV) to be registered in New York:
- it must meet federal motor vehicle safety standard 500 (49 CFR 571.500)
- its maximum performance speed must be certified by the manufacturer
- it must appear on the list of approved limited use vehicles
