Cocktails and refreshments go hand-in-hand with theatrical performances. That’s why Road Less Traveled is upping its beverage game, by building out a fancy-dancy new lobby bar.
In order to pull off the expansion, the theater company has taken over a former Cricket retail space, which adds another 600 square feet to the cocktail lounge experience. There will be seating for upwards of 40 guests, which ensures that more people are served, socialized, and relaxed in this super chill setting.
The expansion of the lobby bar is an overall exciting addition to the offerings at Road Less Traveled.
“When we built the theater in 2018, we knew our lobby was small,” said Managing Director, Gina Gandolfo. “It was always our intention to eventually expand and take over the lease of the retail space in front of us, once we settled into our new theater. That time has come and we are excited to start construction this fall with a plan to open the new lobby bar in conjunction with the opening of The Thin Place (February 23). We are grateful to the Western New York Community and the following who have made our dreams a reality: Erie County, The Goldman Family Foundation, The Rupp Family Foundation, The Stenclik Foundation, Western New York Foundation, and Abstract Architecture PC.”
The new cocktail lounge experience will be ready to go in February.
