BubbleFEST is a fun event for the entire family. Not only do kids (and their parents) have a blast, they tend learn a thing or two along the way.
BubbleFEST takes place at the Buffalo Museum of Science, on Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the first time that the event is scheduled to be held (in person) since the pandemic in 2019. That’s a long time to go without the bubbly, sudsy, foam-laden extravaganza. And this year, to add to the excitement, Bubble Foam Parties has joined the line-up.
Altogether, there will be four floors of the museum, dedicated to BubbleFEST, with bubble walls, bubble tools, and giant magical bubbles that are big enough to step inside!
As for the educational angle, the Museum’s Learning & Interpretation team and volunteers will be providing demonstrations that circle around bubbles found in nature, Cartesian divers, smoke bubbles, etc.
Come step into the Foam Zone. Be entertained by Buffalo’s (other) Bubble Man Doug Rougeux and his Bubblemania! shows in the Museum’s auditorium at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Using the science of popping bubbles and the art of bubble sculpture, Rougeux will amaze guests with bouncing bubbles, bubble cubes and bubbles stretching over 25 feet long.
There’s so much fun to be had at BubbleFEST 2022. But there’s only one way to find out… and that’s to explore the bubbleicious event in person, with friends and family.
And remember, the world loves bubbles – especially the world of Buffalo.
With all the bubble fun in store, the BMS encourages attendees to bring towels to dry off throughout their day of exploration.
Tickets to BubbleFEST are on sale now. Admission is free for Museum Members, or $19 adults, $16 children, students, and military for nonmembers. Entry to Bubblemania! shows is $5 for all guests.
Due to limited capacity of the Bubblemania! shows and to save time in line, members and nonmembers are strongly encouraged to reserve tickets in advance at sciencebuff.org.
