What would life be without The Bubble Man? Unfortunately, it’s a question and scenario that we are all trying to come to grips with as a city.
For years, Chuck Incorvaia – a.k.a. The Bubble Man – was an Allentown staple, as he sat in his window, high above Allen Street, releasing thousands upon thousands of bubbles that would lazily float out into the neighborhood.
When The Bubble Man passed away earlier this year, people immediately began calling for some sort of event (or events) that would pay tribute to the memories of the beloved Allentown fixture.
As an answer to those calls, the Allentown Association and Allentown First Friday Gallery Walk are organizing a celebration of the life of Chuck Incorvaia, to be held on Friday, May 6, from 6 PM – 10 PM, in conjunction with the initial 2022 First Friday Gallery Walk.
Bring your own bubbles, or simply enjoy Allentown in all of its bubble-filled glory. The Bubble Man will be there in spirit, there is no doubt. And so will his bubbles.
