This coming weekend (Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16), Buffalo Collective will be presenting the second round of their Easter season holiday market. This new annual market is a welcome follow-up to Loaded Lumber’s “sensational” European Christmas Market.
Similar to the winter holiday market, the Easter market features artisans, crafters, food and drink, and entertainment. The kids will be happy to meet the Easter Bunny, while adults can sample a cocktail from Black Button Distilling.
The spring market will feature daily rotating artisan vendors, signature mimosas, coffee, Easter essentials, and plenty of family entertainment. Per usual, each of the marketeers will be set up in their own super cute artisan chalet, which helps to create an authentic market setting in the heart of Buffalo – perfect for strolling, browsing, and mingling, while learning about the artisan maker/DIY scene in the region.
The market is free to attend. It is located downtown, next to Ballyhoo (across from the Seneca Casino) at 223 S. Park, Buffalo NY 14202.
About the market: Owners Jillian Cannan and Colleen Pandy of Buffalo Collective have been small business owners in Buffalo for over 7 years. Buffalo staples, including Cheesy Chick, Pour & Penchant, Black Button Distilling, and Hanzlian’s Homemade Sausage & Deli, will be headlining the Buffalo Holiday Market, alongside Buffalo Collective.
After the spring market wraps up, people can look forward to the Market & Mimosas weekly Saturday event, which will take place throughout the summer months – same location, featuring a range of artisans set up inside their quaint chalets! The weekly artisan series runs from May 7 to September 24. Additional information can be found at www.buffaloveholidaymarket.com.
What a great way to kick off the spring season, while looking forward to a glorious summer.
