Who doesn’t want peace? Well, we all know of one person in particular that doesn’t want it. While there’s not much that any one of us can do individually to make a significant tangible difference, together we can help to ease the pain for Ukrainians that continue to suffer at the hands of Putin.
Whether it’s by donating directly to a charity, attending a rally, or participating in a fundraising event, there are plenty of ways to show our collective support for Ukraine.
Coming up on Saturday, April 16, Revolution Gallery is hosting a benefit for Ukraine, featuring artists, musicians, and artisans, all of who are donating their time and talent to this worthy cause. The event – Revolution for Peace – will be held at the Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center.
“[The event includes] six bands, DJ sets, our Misfit Market pop-up, live drawing by artists, silent art auction… all to support those in need. Many thanks to all the bands and the artists who are donating their time and talent. We love when you perform or exhibit in our gallery, and are deeply grateful for your involvement with this event. Join us in the 2nd floor Great Hall, as our artistic community combines our creative forces for an evening of Art and Music. Proceeds provide emergency and humanitarian aid for war victims in Ukraine.” – Revolution Gallery
Here’s what to expect at the event:
- Live music performances by Irving Klaws, The Isolators, Monkey Wrench, Personal Style, Soul Butchers, and Velvet Bethany (order of performance to be announced), and DJ sets by Dr Wisz.
- Live drawing / painting by artists Tricia Butski and Patrick Foran… with a few surprise artists, as well!
- Revolution Gallery’s pop-up Misfits Market will have our regular vendors, and a few new ones! Vendor list to be updated Friday, March 25th.
