A 12-unit apartment building is planned for the northwest corner of Woodbridge Avenue and Main Street across from Bennett High School. Realtor and developer Nicholas Giambra has retained LaBella Associates to design the structure. The structure will occupy a lot where a single-family residence was demolished.
The three-story building will have four apartments per floor and both basement and parking in the rear. Each apartment would have two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Three Variances are requested: a build-to front percentage of 76 percent where 85 percent is required, an 8’6” ground floor height where 10’ minimum is required, and for 110’ deep corner lot where 100’ is allowed. The Zoning Board of Appeals will consider the project at its meeting on July 29.
