Mark your Gregorian calendar, advise lifelong friends and forgotten foes, carve the panorama on your diorama. On Saturday, September 21st, 2019 at midnight, the nationally syndicated “Off Beat Cinema” (OFB) embarks on its journey deep into the realm of the micro series with the dark comedy Why I Murdered My Roommate (WIMMR), produced by Buffalo’s own film femme fatales, The New Hotness, Inc. (TNH).
Equal parts quirky, dastardly and fun, WIMMR stars TNH’s CEO Tilke Hill as EZ, a renegade street artist on the lam surreptitiously sharing her side of the story: how an innocent search for female friendship led to MURDER. Expect uproarious laughter, phenomenological musings, county lockup, peace-loving stinkin’ hippies, questionable dilettantes and why you should ALWAYS be wary of fedoras.
The series will air at midnight for 12 consecutive Saturdays beginning September 21st through December 7th presented with OFB, broadcasting for over 27 years with 70 affiliates (click here for more). If you miss the chance to view an episode on the air, don’t despair! Simply traverse to www.whyimurderedmyroommate.com the following day.
