Who is a young professional?
The Buffalo Niagara region is bursting with talent and ambition. The resurgence that our region has experienced is partially due to the area’s young people, and Spotlight Professionals are the best of them.
Young professionals come from a wide range of industries and perform a variety of jobs – whether you work in the private or public sector, and whether you’re an employee, an entrepreneur, or a volunteer. A “professional” can hold many different jobs, from lawyers and mechanics to manufacturers and doctors.
A Spotlight Professional is someone who:
- Cares about the community
- Feels passionately about the Buffalo Niagara region as a whole
- Has chosen to live and work here
- Is hardworking and professionally motivated
- Actively works to make a positive impact at work and in the region
- Works in the private or public sector; as either a paid employee or a volunteer based
- Is between the ages of 21 and 40
Do you know someone who exemplifies the qualities listed above? Help celebrate and acknowledge their dedication by nominating them as a Spotlight Professional. Nominations for 2020 Spotlights are open until October 11th.
