A three-unit residential project is taking shape at 1016 Lafayette Avenue in the Oxford Triangle neighborhood. Severyn Development is constructing the project that features a two-family structure in front and a carriage house in the rear. It fills a previously vacant 37’ x 238’ vacant lot that was purchased from Canisius College.
The construction cost was estimated at $520,000 according to the City’s permit database. Severyn is planning to construct similarly designed structures at 1017 and 1021 Lafayette Avenue. Each of those buildings will contain four units.
The projects are just east of the former Record Theater complex that a group led by Jason Yots is proposing to renovate for a mix of uses and tenants.
