Eddie Brady’s Saloon steps up with some Quality Signage

Eddie Brady’s Saloon is sporting some pretty neat new signage. The sign is reminiscent of the old world hand painted signs that can still be seen around the city. The only difference is that this one is actually vinyl.

I stopped in for a beer yesterday, to ask about the work, and it was Pat Brady (Eddie’s brother) who told me that the vinyl sign was the work of Ace Flag. I couldn’t believe it when he told me that it was vinyl! I naturally assumed that it was painted, because looking up close it resembles a hand painted work – you can even see the fine details of brickwork through the vinyl.

This new addition to the building is brilliant. It’s so nice to see a longstanding downtown business broadcast itself in this manner. The simple, sharp gold lettering looks very distinguished juxtaposed against the black backdrop. This is also a fine addition to the Genesee Gateway, which has certainly come a long way as of late.
