Verve Dance Studio lands new digs – will host a Fall Session Open House

Verve Dance Studio has been around since 2005. The studio instructs young people about the art of Bboying/Bgirling, Hip Hop, Graffiti Art, and there are even adult Hip Hop sessions thrown into the mix. Over the last 15 or so years, Verve has taught countless students the art of urban dance, and has hosted some pretty exciting battles around town. They have also brought all of these artistic street elements into the public spotlight by teaming up with New Era for the annual Under the Lights: Battle @ Buffalo.

Verve opened in 2005 and is the Buffalo Niagara region’s only school dedicated to the art of Bboying and Hip Hop Culture.

It was back in 2017 that Verve lost its longtime home on Main Street in Allentown. They managed to find a space at the Great Arrow Building for a couple of years after that. Now, it looks as if the dance troupe has found more of an anchor home at 100 Gelston Street, which is just off burgeoning Niagara Street (Niagara & Auburn). The studio is now located in the same building as KC’s Fitness, adding a new fitness energy to the space.

“We’re proud to offer a place where students as young as five years old and even into their 60s & 70s can express themselves and exchange ideas with each other, all while learning the history and foundation of art forms within Hip Hop culture.” – Verve

Moving forward, Verve is ready to show off their new home, via a Fall Session Open House:
