Take a Buffalo City Walk with Rochester A-List

Rochester is meeting up with Buffalo yet again, for an inaugural downtown Buffalo City Walk where everyone is invited to attend. The walking tour is brought to us by Rochester A-List, a group that hopes to bridge the two cities through events and socials.

“City Walk is a walking happy hour visiting three of the best places for food and drink in downtown Buffalo,” said lead organizer Amy Riposo. “We’re going to 500 Pearl where we’ll see both the W XYZ Lounge and Patrick’s Rooftop (lead image). There will be an optional tour, to be one of the first to see the new building renovations and all of the event spaces – Aloft Hotel, pool, bowling, and where the two new restaurants are going to be. We’ll also be going to Big Ditch Brewery and Expo Market. Each location is offering samples of their delicious food and drink specials. The event is from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. One lucky City Walker will win an overnight stay at the Aloft Hotel at 500 Pearl (automatic entry with purchase of a ticket – tickets are $12). Our upcoming Buffalo City Walk is Wednesday, August 21!”

Whether you’re from Rochester or Buffalo, this is a great way to get to know The Queen City on the Lake, while meeting up with some super fun people along the way. It’s also a strolling event, which means that you’ll get a little exercise in, while exploring the city. And best of all, there will be plenty of food and drinks, so you don’t have to worry about being hungry or thirsty. Come be a part of this new blossoming relationship between two cities that should have connected a long time ago… and get to know three of Downtown Buffalo’s new premier drinking and dining destinations in the process.
