Buffalo Rising stopped by Moriarty Meats on Grant Street to talk with owners Tom and Caitlin Moriarty about their Butchery, with a team of talented visual storytellers.
Esteemed local photographer, Luke Copping, directed the conversation with the Moriartys and created the portraits featured here.
Videographer, Andy Morin, lent his skilled eye (and hardware arsenal) to capture Tom and Caitlin in motion.
And Buffalo Rising’s Devin Chavanne (who, with Andy, shared Director of Photography responsibilities) shot the butchery in action and its details. Devin also edited the piece.
Tom and Caitlin’s story is a great Buffalo story–one that combines hopes for the future, skills from the past, and the types of thoughtful businesses and interesting proprietors that are such a large part of Buffalo’s here and now.
