One of the ways that Music is Art continues to beat the cultural drum in Buffalo, year after year, is through fundraising. And one of the best fundraisers leading up to the big event is the annual Chef’s Street Party hosted by Music is Art (MiA). The street party is a great way to get into the MiA groove, a few days before the official festival takes place on September 7 at Buffalo RiverWorks.
Chef’s Street Party is a slice of MiA life – not only is there a Chef’s buffet, beer and wine, live entertainment, basket-silent and a live autographed guitar auction, most everything is included in the price of a ticket! There’s also live street art by Buffalo’s own Chuck Tingley, Kelly Kresconko, and Chris Main. What’s not to love about that? Plus, the proceeds all go towards MiA, which helps to promote art and live music in Buffalo via 150+ bands, 21 live stages, 140 DJs, and 50 artists.
Hosted by Music is Art founder, Robby Takac.
