GB&B picks up 976 Delaware Avenue for New Headquarters

Last week, Gurney, Becker, & Bourne Real Estate and Insurance (GB&B) announced that it had purchased 976 Delaware Avenue (former AAA offices) for its new headquarters. The company purchased the property from the Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation for $950,000.

Come spring, GB&B will be vacating its current offices at 560 Delaware Avenue in Allentown, which the company rents. The move will allow GB&B to invest capital resources into the mid-century edifice, as it builds out modern workspaces.

GB&B stated that the purchase was made at a time when the city is experiencing a renaissance. The company has also been growing its team of agents, who will have access to expanded office amenities.

“We love our current home in Allentown, but as the region grows, so do we. And in order to continue to support Western New York, we need a larger space that we can build out to cater to the needs of our valued employees and customers,” said Charles L. (Sam) Gurney, III. “We have been considering a move like this for years. Our new location is in the heart of the city, accessible to all areas, with plenty of parking. This new space will enable us to continue to grow and take the next steps forward in serving the Western New York community.”
