For nine years, Buffalonians have been eager to attend Buffalo Soup-Fest. What started off as a quirky soup-inspired event went on to capture the imaginations, and taste buds, of people from all over the region. The 2019 Buffalo Soup-Fest will, once again, feature the yummiest soups by some of the hottest local chefs (representing myriad restaurants). There will also be local beer, live music, and trivia by Buffalo’s own Quizmaster, Dennis George. All of this will be held under one roof at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.
If you’re a soup lover then you’re going to be blown away with this year’s offerings. Click here to see all of the different kinds of soups that will be served up. Guests to the festival will have an opportunity to try upwards of 75 different soups from 30 restaurants (many vegan and gluten free options available).
Before the festival wraps up, the winners of categories including “Most Unique”, “Best Beer-Based”, “Best Seafood”, and “Best Buffalo Style” will be announced (at 5pm). There will also be an amateur soup competition, with judging at 4pm. And finally, guests can look forward to:
- Kid’s Area, sponsored by TheGeekiverse.com. Kids will be able to play video games and participate in a superhero coloring contest.
- Live music by Sara Elizabeth throughout the day on the Towne Collision Mainstage
