Julia Buckley, acting travel editor, iNews, has thrown Buffalo a nice bone for the New Year. Actually, she makes the pitch that Buffalo has now become one of her favorite places to visit, ever since she first made the trip in 2018. To boot, she makes a statement that she is already planning her return in 2019. Buffalo topped her list of cities in an iNews article, “Where travel experts went on holiday in 2018”. In the article, a bevy of travel experts highlighted their top travel destinations in 2018, and Buckley, who compiled the list of writers and destinations, chose Buffalo as her go-to travel destination.
Adding to the thrill of being chosen as Buckley’s top city to visit, is the amazing photo by Joe Cascio that does a great job of capturing the essence of the Buffalo River, and RiverWorks. A few days ago, I posted on the resurrection of the river, which was once considered a dead body of water. Today, the Buffalo River has joined a plethora of iconic local destinations that continue to captivate the imaginations of locals, visitors, and even travel experts who now have this city on their radar as a place that keeps everyone wondering and guessing… what’s next?
