On Saturday, January 19, the community is invited to attend an event at The Broadway Market that celebrates National Polka Month. And what better way to celebrate, than by paying tribute to the crucial aspects of the culture – music, beer, and food.

Music: Docenko performing 9:00 am to 11:00 am & Buffalo Touch performing noon to 3:00 pm

Beer: Polish Beer for sale 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Food: Pierogi for sale all day from: Babcia’s Pierogi, Chrusciki Bakery, Keeping Traditions Pierogi, Pierogi by Paula, and Potts Deli!

Everyone is invited to take part in this annual celebration.

Step back in time, and visit The Broadway Market, while supporting an institution that is synonymous with Buffalo.

Buffalo Rising

Sometimes the authors at Buffalo Rising work on collaborative efforts in order to cover various events and stories. These posts can not be attributed to one single author, as it is a combined effort. Often times a formation of a post gets started by one writer and passed along to one or more writers before completion. At times there are author attributions at the end of one of these posts. Other times, “Buffalo Rising” is simply offered up as the creator of the article. In either case, the writing is original to Buffalo Rising.
