I Love You, I Hate You Burlesque Show

Valentine's burlesque show planned for Saturday, February 16

Valentine’s Day is a romantic time of year, where loved ones exchange cards, chocolates, and plenty of smooches. Adding to that romance, local burlesque dancer and event organizer, Vanessa Oswald, has come up with another one of her outrageous shows that she is planning on unveiling at Milkie’s on Elmwood Avenue. Vanessa tells me that she has finally come up with an official name for her burlesque troupe – SugaTush and the Glam Vamps.

“We’re basically doing a show that includes love songs and hate songs,” says Vanessa. “We wanted to have a variety of songs to represent the variety of feelings that people have on Valentine’s Day, whether they’re in a relationship or not. This way nobody is left out!”

Get ready for a night of titillating comedy and performance from dancers, including SugaTush, Sapphire SeaQueen, Fiona Fatale, Juicy Lucy, and Cat Sinclair (The Stripteasers). Kerry Fey will also be performing covers and original songs in-between dance routines.

The I Love You, I Hate You Burlesque Show will be a ton of fun for anyone looking to do something out of the ordinary on Valentine’s Day. Bring your loved one, your gaggle of friends, or your mom and dad. The burlesque showcase can be the perfect ice breaker for a new date, or it can add some fiery flair to a longterm relationship. There are countless reasons to attend the upcoming Valentine’s Day burlesque show… what will your reason be?
