“Here We Are”, followed by Gong Bath Meditation/Sound Performance @ Artspace

On Sunday, January 13, artist/artisan Donna Sturges invites you to attend a Gong Bath Meditation/Sound Performance at Artspace. The sound performance/meditation will be held following a gallery showing of “Here We Are”, also organized by Sturges – a photography exhibit featuring the following photographers:

Brendan Bannon, Ginny Rose Stewart, KC Kratt, Janet Loder, Denise Carr, Jan Nagle, Gustavo Glorioso, Stephen Powell, Alana Fajemisin, Michelle Perkins, Jennifer Page, Kyle Fortner, and photography students from Kenmore East High School. Curator is Denise Carr.

The public is invited to attend the photography show, and then stick around for the sound immersion experience by liz Holland of Ancient Alloys, who will be joined by MM Percussion Performance – the therapeutic gong sounds and vibrations are used in Eastern medicine practices as forms of healing. Guests to the show are welcome to bring a yoga mat, to fully immerse themselves into the vibrational experience.
