Bon Appétit! Remedy House Gets Some Nice National Media Mentions

Remedy House has been making a big splash in the national media as of late. Coming off a shout out in Architectural Digest (May 2018 issue), the hip café is now being featured in the latest issue of Bon Appétit Magazine. Co-owner of Remedy House, Andrew Trautman, says that the café will be featured in the February print issue. “Butter Block and Remedy House were also on Bon Appétit’s and Adam Rapoport’s personal Instagram this week,” said Trautman. “Then, we have a big feature inside the February issue, alongside a few other coffee shops across the nation, talking about coffee shops that are bars at night.”

I asked Trautman how Remedy House ended up on Bon Appétit’s radar, and he told told me that Alex Delany (an editor) was in the café over the summer, and Rapoport was in the café a few weeks ago.

Buffalo’s collective café experience continues to impress, with new players entering the field, old hats expanding and supersizing, and a number of third wave coffee shops pressing on in various directions.

Remedy House has been a hometown favorite since it hit the ground running in November of 2017. It didn’t take long before magazines like Bon Appétit and Architectural Digest came calling.
