Workshop: Vacant Land Development

On Thursday, November 1, Buffalo Information Sharing Collective – BISC will be hosting a Vacant Land Development workshop, for:

A) People who own vacant properties in the city

B) People who want to build on vacant properties, or make them more productive

  • Common land ownership goals include:
  • Turning a profit off the land by selling it
  • Building on the land
  • Additional yard space
  • Storage space
  • Urban farming for profit
  • Personal gardening

This workshop is meant to inform people about the possibilities, when it comes to increasing the value of the property. It’s also meant to encourage more infill on vacant lots, so that we can have a thriving community, with infill that is walkable, beautiful, and bountiful.

“This workshop will cover what your goals are for land ownership and how to accomplish those goals. Learn how to put your land to good use.” – BISC
